Vintage Hand painted Satsuma Enamel Textured Asian Vase/ Urn with Handles RARE. Approximate measurements are: 10 1/2" Tall x 9 1/4" Wide (handle to handle) x 7" D at the top x 5" D at the bottom and weighs approximately 5 lbs. 3 oz without packing materials. Approximately Circa 1960's. It is unbranded; however, the bottom does say: Made in China, #16 (in red). On 2 sides there are two Stunning Birds on a Hillside surrounded by Trees & Flowers. On the other 2 sides there are flower & geometric designs & these designs can also be found under the top edge & on the pedestal. Crackle Detail throughout entire Vase. Gold handles, trim, edging & accents. Glazed on the majority of the Vase with the other parts being raw stoneware. This Vase/ Urn is a Beautifully crafted Hand painted piece of ART. Condition is preowned with no chips or cracks. There is some wear on the gold handles & bottom due to age. Remember- all hand painted items could have small imperfections or bubbles.
